Ember Resources Safety App provides a reliable, secure and less interruptive way for field workers to check-in with the company’s Control Room.
Remote employees that are working alone must check in at pre-defined intervals. The Working Alone App makes it easy for user to simply login and check-in with a quick tap on their mobile device.
The app notifies users if they are within 10 minutes of the countdown timer sending an alert. If the timer counts down to 0, an alert is sent to the Control Room and the mobile user is notified that they must call the Control Room immediately.
The app is integrated with a Dashboard that Control Room administrators use to view check-in activity including alerts. The Dashboard also allows Control Room administrators to view real-time worker locations and manage user profiles, including check-in intervals.
Ember Resources Inc. is Canada’s largest unconventional Coal Bed Methane producer, the Working Alone App is used by Ember’s field staff and contractors.
Warning: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
